Anne Jacobs, M.D.

Dr. Anne Jacobs brings to Spectrum Eye Care her 30 years of ophthalmic surgical skills and experience. She performs traditional and laser-assisted cataract surgery at the Findlay Surgery Center. As an added option with cataract surgery, she offers Premium lenses to correct distance and near vision. She is thrilled to be part of Spectrum Eye Care​​​​​​​ and welcomes cataract referrals.

Additionally, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor where she supervises and teaches ophthalmology at the University Hospitals Eye Institute in Cleveland and was recently honored with the Attending of the Year Award. She has faculty appointments at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. She performs laser vision correction as well as facial aesthetics in Cleveland.

Dr. Jacobs was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1982 after obtaining her degree in Chemistry at Hollins University. Dr. Jacobs did her ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve. She opened her practice in 1986 which she sold after many years and remains active in the community.

​​​​​​​Dr. Jacobs has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1987. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She is a member of the Ohio Ophthalmological Society and Cleveland Ophthalmological Society. She currently serves on the Community Foundation of Lorain County Grants Committee.
